Kona and Michael with his new mask

For better or worse, COVID restrictions seem to be loosening up quite a bit here in Texas. Hard to believe it has been an entire year since things got weird. Last year at this time we were planning to start making appearances at various bird related shows in the south to promote our shirts, but obviously our plans (like everyone else’s) got put on hold, things were cancelled, and priorities changed.

Well we are happy to say that over the next few weeks we are planning to attend two upcoming bird shows in Texas. The first will be on March 27th in Temple with the second a week later on April 3rd in Conroe. We are excited to get out, meet other bird people, and get feedback on our shirts. If you happen to be in the area and attending, make sure to stop by and say hello!

Tiki Room Face Mask

Speaking of COVID-related things, check out this awesome parrot mask I just got in the mail. It’s not made by Birdwear, but is actually from Disney world and uses some of their Tiki Room designs…. Which obviously is my favorite attraction. In fact, I regularly listen to an LP of the classic soundtrack and play it for the birds, who love to sing along to their national anthem.

While I am definitely getting fatigued of wearing masks everywhere, this one makes me smile… although I guess you will need to trust me on that.
